This recipe details how to make homemade vegan Gyoza featuring a savory filling of roasted oyster mushrooms, sautéed onions, Asian cabbage, coriander, and garlic, encased in a simple flour and water dough, then fried to a crisp finish.
Roast off mushrooms and sauté onions cabbage and garlic off in a pan, once cooled add those ingredients into a bowl with the cooled roasted mushrooms and cooled rice noodles. After add flour and water into a separate bowl and nead to create a dough. Roll out dough about 1/8 inch thick and cut into small round shapes. Next add a spoonful of your veg mix into your rounded dough shapes and crimp. Fry them off and boom you're done. Now I added a 50/50 flour slurry to my Gyozas while they were frying to create that crisp wafer around the edge. Do that if you think you got the balls.. good luck, send me some pics when you make these.
